How to prepare for Microsoft Azure certification DP-200: Implementing an Azure Data Solution?
This Monday (9 March 2020), I passed the DP-200 exam and became Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, great news!

Azure Data Engineers design and implement the management, monitoring, security, and privacy of data using the full stack of Azure data services to satisfy business needs.
Thank you for all the positive feedback from previous blog posts AI-100 and DP-201. I hope this new blog post will help you to prepare for DP-200.
DP-200 exam tips:
1. Have real world experience with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure SQL DW), Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Blob storage.
2. Review the content of the DP-200 exam page.
3. Use the Youtube video below called “EXAM PREP: DP-200 | Implementing an Azure Data Solution | BRK1051” to help you understand the exam and how to prepare.
3. Use your Azure subscription to build your own demos and try every technology involved in the exam to get hands-on experience.
4. Book your exam, in the day of the exam eat chocolate and drink water.
5. Have fun and get your badge!
DP-200 exam:
Candidates for this exam are Microsoft Azure data engineers who collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet the data requirements to implement data solutions that use Azure data services.
Azure data engineers are responsible for data-related implementation tasks that include provisioning data storage services, ingesting streaming and batch data, transforming data, implementing security requirements, implementing data retention policies, identifying performance bottlenecks, and accessing external data sources.
Candidates for this exam must be able to implement data solutions that use the following Azure services: Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure SQL DW), Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Blob storage.
