Snowflake, the data warehouse built for the cloud

Some months ago, I saw some of my very smart and nice friends moving from Pentaho to a company called Snowflake.

I have to admit that this got my attention to the company and the product and I started to look more about the product to understand the difference between Snowflake and Azure SQL DW or Amazon Redshift.

Working with Azure inside a Microsoft world it is quite hard to use Snowflake in my projects.

But, things might change because on July 12, 2018, Microsoft and Snowflake announced the release about availability on Microsoft Azure.
